Adding A Reward

2 min read

Once you’ve created the Loyalty Card, the second step is to create the Rewards.

Note: Any reward that you make active/inactive will be immediately active/inactive on the card.

You can create a Reward by clicking the rewards tab on the feature menu, and then clicking on the plus sign.

You will then see a reward setup screen like the below image.

In here, you’ll need to define the reward name and enter a description – both these fields will be visible to the app user when the reward becomes available.

Set how many points are needed to redeem this reward.

Note: The point value given here must be within the range of your card that you have created otherwise it will not show as a possible reward. So if your card needs 12 points to complete (12 stamps) your reward value must be between 1 point (stamp) and 12 points (stamps).

There is also the ability to set an expiration for the Rewards you add to the card.

When you create a reward, you can define that it will expire 30 days after it is earned by the user. This creates
urgency so that the user comes back to the store to redeem the reward and, hopefully, makes an additional purchase.

The Inactive Reward image will appear when the user still doesn’t have enough points to redeem it.

Once the user has enough points to redeem a reward, the Active Reward image will be shown.

If you don’t place any images here, the default ones that are uploaded under the Options tab will be used.

Please note that, once a reward is created, you’ll need to activate it before it will be displayed on the card.

If a reward is not currently enabled, you will see the red tick as shown in the image below, just click it to enable.

If a reward is active, you’ll see the option (like a power on / off icon) to disable it by clicking it.
