Store Categories are useful when you have multiple stores which need to be categorised.
You can create store categories by visiting Catalog -> Store Category page.
Then to add a category, click the plus symbol.
Here you can add an image for the store category, the name of the category and also a subtitle to display on the category page too.
You also have the ability to enable or disable the store status from here too.
